Our four-week course is perfect for beginner students who want to gain an extended understanding of working with clay. Learn the foundations of wheel throwing and hand-building, and how to trim, fire and glaze.
Week One: Introduction to studio + wheel throwing + handbuilding with slabs
Week Two: Wheel throwing + handbuilding with coils
Week Three: Work on your own project!
Week Four: Glazing
The course fee includes 8 hours of making time and all clay, glazes and tools are provided. A generous 2.5kg of firing is included - over 2.5kg will cost $12/kg.
For adults aged 18 years and over.
