Dirthouse acknowledges the Wiradjuri people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we create, learn, and gather. I pay my respects to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations people.

I recognise that ceramics and working with clay connect us to the earth, a practice that First Nations people have engaged in for tens of thousands of years. I honour their enduring cultural knowledge, creativity, and deep relationship with Country.
